These crime fighting hotties set out to save the world and keep their lipstick perfectly applied while doing so.     Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly play a fiery role with one another in this hot movie. Jennifer’s character, Violet, is dating a shady man, Caesar. Corky, depicted by Gina, is a convicted criminal-turned-plumber. She arrives to Violet’s apartment to fix needed repairs around the apartment only to fall into the catch of Violet’s ways and try to steal millions of dollars from a mob only to blame it on Caesar. The passion between Violet and Corky ride a large wave of love and suspense.



    Gia (1998)

    America’s first super model, Gia Carangi, who is played by Angelina Jolie, true story is displayed in this movie. Wilhelmina Cooper, Gia’s agent, quickly takes Gia under her wing and takes her straight to the top with her modeling career. Once Wilhelmina passes away, Gia turns to a life of drugs and falls into a love affair with her make-up artist, Linda. While this movie can easily be seen as a heartbreaking film, it does show the reality of fame and the price of addiction.

    If These Walls Could Talk (2000)

    This series of vignettes has some of today’s hottest stars playing various lesbian roles. Each story takes place in the same house, but in different periods of time. Some stories playing beauty, others playing sorrow, love is the main theme that runs through the series of short stories in this movie.



    go fishGo Fish (1994)

    An independent movie that isn’t as well-known as others on this list but still deserve a nod is “Go Fish”. The setting of this movie, which takes place in around a coffee shop settled in Chicago, offers a location of mystery and movie fuelled with love and scandals. The twists and turns of relationships and love affairs are prevalent throughout this movie and are what drives this film.



    Better Than Chocolate (1999)

    Maggie and Kim, the two main characters in “Better Thank Chocolate”, are deeply in love and live with one another. Maggie’s mother, Lila, goes through a divorce and moves to live with Maggie and Kim. Meanwhile, Lila meets a transgender woman, Judy, who is preparing to go through a sex-change operation. Lila quickly learns more about her daughter, her friend and her daughter’s girlfriend during this exciting movie.


    loving annabelleLoving Annabelle (2006)

    In what seems to be a fantasy to many people, Annabelle is a student at a Catholic boarding school who falls in love with her teacher. Throughout the movie, the thrill of love with the teacher and the teacher having intimate feelings towards her student in return repeat throughout this sultry movie. The twists of this film captures the interests to many who love a good love story.




    monsterMonster (2003)

    “Monster” is based on the true story of Aileen Wuornos, one of the first American female serial killers. Aileen, who grew up with an abusive childhood, had a hard adult life that continued to follow her around. Using what she knew best, Aileen turned to a world of prostitution and along the way fell in love with another woman, Tyria Moore who was, as portrayed in the movie, unaware of the brutality that Aileen was akin to. During the movie is it shown that Tyria, or in the movie, Selby, would lie for Aileen, but at the time of testimony once arrested for murder, she did not defend her girlfriend, and Aileen was convicted of multiple murder charges of her Johns. Aileen died from lethal injection in October of 2002.


    kissing jessica steinKissing Jessica Stein (2001)

    This light-hearted comedy follows the life of Jessica Stein who is on the search to find the perfect man. In the midst of her journey, Jessica finds that she falls in love with a woman instead. Jessica files a personal ad in the local newspaper looking for a female, and responds to an ad from Helen. She quickly learns that she is falling in love with her as she would with a man, but not admitting to her family that she is in a relationship with a woman proves turbulent in the relationship. Finding true love and working through the confusion of same-sex relationship is what keeps this movie a classic and relatable movie for many lesbians.

    Desert hearts (old film. Is like lesbian classic. Like it). Had watched all movies mentioned here. I'm kinda lesbian movie junkie.

    my first lesbian movie was high art. very nice i went to see it in the cinema with my best friend at the time who was lesbian too and a few years older than me. a few hours later she was my first

    imagine me and you is nice as well 

    also a very beautiful movie is viola di mare.... u might want to bring tissues though.


    same goes for boys don't cry


    but i'm a cheerleader on the contrary is hilarious,

    Carol is a good one and feels very genuine with its natural relationship and bittersweet conclusion. It was based off a groundbreaking 1950s novel titled “The Price Of Salt”, which I will half to read at some point.

    I just watched The Miseducation of Cameron Post and my oh my I love this movie. I strongly recommend. + Je te mangerais(french), Kyss mig(swedish), Disobedience, The Girlfriend Experience(season 2), Flores Raras(brazilian) and Consequence(iranian).

    But my favorite is: The purple sea, Kiss Me and Below Her mouth.
